This is like... Newgrounds Rumble before Newgrounds Rumble was even thought of.
Great concept. Old game, as I can easily tell, but a classic, as well as an addicting game.
Idea:
Make a sequel, named "Portal Kombat"
Add characters from "the gang" (the picture on right on the Flash Portal page) as well as Newgrounds Rumble. Add better controls... and, well you have yourself a winner.

I liked the first one, and I think this one as well.
Had to dig deep to find it though.

These sophisticated humor bits are quite funny, especially the President Alien bit.

And also, if you ever plan on making more and need a voice-actor... I'm here for you.

That sums this track up.
As you have already stated, this would be perfect for a battle scene. IMO, either a video game or a sprite animation could use it.
